Joe Wallace Freeman was born on August 6, 1940 in Tuscumbia, AL to Willie D. and Annie P Freeman.
He attended Trenholm High School in Tuscumbia, AL where he was affectionately known as: "JW" and "Molly." After graduating in 1958, he enlisted in the United States Air Force.
While serving his country, it was at this time, he met and wedded Joan Rowland. From this union three children were born: Joe W., Jose, and Latoya. …
