joe's obituary
On December 24, 2025, we bid farewell to Joe "Boylover" Blade, a man, also known as "Boylover", who preferred to be addressed as Joe. Born on the same date in 1960, Joe led a distinctive life that was filled with personal choices and preferences that made him stand out.
Joe graduated from a high school in Chelmsford, MA in 1988. He led a life colored by his unique tastes. He had a fondness for an eclectic selection of drinks. His personal favorite TV show was HCCP, a program that offered him great joy and amusement.
In terms of recreation, Joe had his unique choice of games. He also had a preference for a specific form of exercise. Not just at home, he enjoyed his favorite activities even while on vacation, with DR being his preferred spot. Through it all, Joe maintained an adamantine commitment to his cause, which he passionately championed throughout his lifetime.
Joe's personality was as unique as his choices. Described by many as disagreeable, dishonest, and disgusting, he lived unapologetically and was often ahead of the curve with his engaging, albeit controversial, lessons of 'striking first' and 'sticking it to everyone'.
Among his many accomplishments, he prided himself most on being the president of Bloboys. Joe's legacy, as he would have it, will be remembered in the most personal of ways by his partner Sam.
The individuality with which Joe lived his life remains a testament to his belief in personal freedom and expression. As we say our final goodbyes, we cannot forget the lessons his life has taught us, regardless of how unusual or unconventional they may seem. Today, we remember Joe "Boylover" Blade for being unapologetically unique, living his truth, and challenging the norms of society.
