Jodi's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jodi Lynn Millard on July 5, 2024. Born on August 8, 1971, Jodi embraced life with a happy, loving, and humorous spirit that touched everyone she knew. Her enduring love for her family and her feisty spirit in life will serve as an enduring legacy to those who had the fortune of knowing her.
Jodi's life was enriched by the love of her family. She is survived by her partner in life, Ryan Derisley, her children, Devin Millard, Madyson Burnham, Richard Atkins Brooklyn Atkins, and her step-daughter, Lindsey Atkins. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to Greyson Hall, Declan Roach, Rosalie Burnham, Harlow Lilly, and Ellie Burnham, and a caring mother-in-law to Luke Burnham. Jodi was also a loving daughter to her mother, Laura Millard and was predeceased by her father, John Millard and her grandparents, Shirley and Walter Breese and Fanny and George Millard.
Much of Jodi's joy in life came from spending time with her children and grandchildren, whose lives she cherished above all else. Her warm laughter, compassionate nature and radiant smile will be forever etched in the hearts of those who loved her.
A funeral service to honor Jodi will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 promptly at 12:00 PM at the Columbarium’s at Lakeview Cemetery, 6150 White Lake Rd, Village of Clarkston, 48346. The Reception to celebrate Jodi's life will follow at 12:30 PM at Waypoint Free Methodist Church, located in The Point Room, 8400 Dixie Hwy, Clarkston, 48348.

As we remember Jodi, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of joy, love, and laughter. Her journey on earth may have ended, but the memories she left behind will continue to inspire and guide us. We will miss her dearly, but her spirit of joy and love will forever resonate in our hearts.
