Jodi Cea, 66, of DeLand, FL, passed away on June 17th, 2023 after a heroic battle with Pancreatic Cancer - in the home of her Oldest daughter Melissa in Palm Bay, FL while on Hospice. Jodi was surrounded by both her daughters and her four grandchildren at the time of her passing.

Jodi was born on March 16th, 1957 to Michael and Ginnie (Falco) Cea in Bethel, CT. After graduating from Bethel High, in 1975, she moved to West Palm Beach. FL and went on to study Social Science at the University of Florida. After graduating with her Masters, she landed her dream job as a Social Worker for (DCF) Dept. of Children and Families; and became a Supervisor before retirement.

Jodi's first daughter was born in 1973 and was given up for adoption; however, Jodi met and had a 27yr relationship with her oldest daughter, Melissa. Jodi also had a second daughter, Heather in 1985. Melissa gave Jodi three grandchildren - Ashley, Zachary and Rosey; and Heather gave Jodi her youngest grandchild, Kadence. Jodi also was blessed to have two Great-Grandsons by her oldest Granddaughter, Ashley. Their names are Jordan and Devan. 

After retiring in 2020, Jodi spent her time creating memories with her family. Jodi was predeceased by her Mother, Ginnie (Falco) Cea and Father, Michael Cea. She is survived by her daughter's Melissa Kahler and Heather Cea, Grandchildren Ashley Kahler, Zachary Kahler, Rosey Kahler and Kadence McCrieght and her Great-Grandsons Jordan Beverly and Devan Beverly.
