Jocene Elsie (Cumber) Doyle was born February 7, 1931 at Trinity Hospital in Jamestown, North Dakota; the daughter and firstborn of Victor Joseph and Florence (Elhard) Cumber. She was baptized as a baby and confirmed as a teenager . . . reaffirming her devotion to Christ by baptism as an adult. She was a participant in Mt. View Nazarene Chruch.
