Joaquin was an intelligent and handsome man who wanted the best for all his loved ones and himself.

Joaquin G. Orozco was a nice and caring man. He rejoiced and mourned with others. He had a sweet smile and lovely eyes, as he said “thank you” to those who gave to him in any capacity. He grew in thanks to God for all of His sweet blessings. He had high ideals, which made him a good man!

It’s a blessing that Joaquin would call and be able to speak with his children. It was always nice to speak with Joaquin.

Although unhoused, he wouldn’t carry any weapons on him, as he in no way wanted to hurt others. Joaquin felt deeply for people.

Over the last couple months, unhoused and involved with the criminal justice system, he was failed by a non-involved Tucson AZ probation officer who could have done more to reach him (at least call!) and offer resources (and the direction Joaquin was looking for) ~ a very failed system.
