Joaquin's obituary

In loving remembrance of Joaquin Cano, a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, and grandpa, who we lost to a terrible lung disease on September 26th, 2021. Joaquin was born in Cuba on August 16th, 1958 and has lived in Mount Dora, Florida for many years now. He is survived by his wife, Gisela Calzada, who loyally and lovingly cared for him until his last day. He loves his children, Geraldo, Yeremis, Enrique, and Yohan and adores all of his grandchildren. Joaquin was a man of simple pleasures, who liked to relax and be around the grandkids. He worked 6 days a week sometimes and in his downtime, he liked to stroll and shop, chat with family in Miami and Cuba, and fish from time to time. Joaquin will be deeply missed and he is forever cherished. We know he is free from illness and his spirit is flying high with the angels. To all of our Cano family, we pray you find peace in healing and that one day, we can reminisce with smiles and not tears.
