Background

Joaquin worked at a container company for almost 10 years. He was paid low wages and continually exposed to toxic acids and chemicals. He went from being healthy and working 6 days a week at times to becoming 100 % oxygen dependent in the last year. He was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, a terminal lung disease and it was occupational related. Joaquin’s dying wish was to pursue a lawsuit against the corporation for negligence and toxic exposure, so that he could leave money for his wife and grandchildren, otherwise, he died for nothing. He worked hard for years here in America and had nothing to show for it. He had nothing to pass on. He wanted to pass away on his beautiful island and home country of Cuba, but he was far too weak to travel in these end days. Our family is coming together to cover the costs of cremation, urns, and sending his ashes to Cuba. We desperately need help to pay for a private forensic pathologist. Joaquin’s lungs are the entire case. 1 chemical , just one, found in his lungs will be a direct link to the chemical company. The costs of this starts at $5000 and the biopsy is critical. We are seeking immediate assistance because his body is resting at the hospital as I write this. We do not want to move forward with cremation until we can get the evidence we need. I would appreciate if you only donated a $1 and gave the post a share to help us reach others who may have experienced something like this, an unjust death of a good man. Thank you to anyone who supports us in any kind of way. We can’t thank you enough! Contribute   Right arrow
