Joanne (Newberry) Buffington, of Port Orange, FL, passed away June 16, 2021, at Halifax Hospice Care Center in Edgewater, FL, following a tragic incident in March, 2021.
Born in Illinois, most recently living in Rockford, IL until moving to Florida in 1996.
Joanne loved all animals, beautiful sunsets, and children. She had a great sense of humor, and a certain sass to her. She loved to laugh.
Survived by her daughter Nancy Buffington, son David Buffington, sister Barbara (Newberry) Zelhart, brother Jim (Diane) Newberry, and brother Frank (Linda) Newberry, Grandson Jeremy Buffington, plus several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Also survived by her beloved pets.
Predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Norman Buffington, brothers Jack Newberry, Gene Newberry, Richard Newberry, Phillip Newberry, and sister Betty (Newberry) Tedford.

She is, and will always be deeply missed. She is with dad now, the love of her life, and we will all be reunited again one day.
