My dearest Joanna,

We met on a bowling league and became instant friends.  We had such great times together! I miss you my beautiful, kind, fun-loving, adventurous friend. I miss most your beautiful smile and contagious laughter.  May you rest in heavenly peace.

I'm so sorry for the Loss of such a Beautiful Soul! Prayers for the Family.

I was very sad when I heard the news of Joanna's passing. She was such a kind and beautiful spirit! I’m praying for her family and friends. She will be missed.

Joanna was my first best friend. We lost touch after going to different high schools . We just recently connected a year ago, and like we never missed a beat…she was that same cheery positive light I remembered. Making me laugh and telling it like it is. Her hugs, so maternal. We talked about getting together soon so this really breaks my heart. My sincere condolences go out to family and friends. Taken from us too soon and unexpectedly. I will miss you my dear friend Jo!

Grief, I've learned, is really just love. It's all the love you want to give but cannot. All of that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go. I'll always remember you, and the love of 41 years of knowing you!
