Joann Moyer ( Maiden name Joann Parsons), passed away on December 24th, 2022 at the age of 69 at her residence in Southgate, Michigan.

Joann was born on November 30th, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan to Charlie and Juanita Parsons.

Joann was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, cousin, wife, aunt, mother and grandmother. Joann's memory lives through her surviving husband of 52 years Marty Moyer JR., her son Marty Moyer III, her sister Pamela Barton, her Daughter-in-law Yuliia Moyer, her grandson Marty Moyer IV, and her granddaughter Raeann Miller. Joann is also survived by a large family of cousins, nieces, nephews and life-long friends.

Joann was a dedicated stay-at-home parent who created a household full of love and warm memories for her husband and two children, Raegan and Marty.

Joann saw the equality in all people. Joann assisted family and strangers whenever they were in need. Joann was beautiful, selfless, caring , willful and intelligent.

Joann welcomed everyone with a smile and open arms. Joann truly did love with an endless capacity which she showed by including an abundance of heart emojis , smiley faces, and X's and O's with every text, mail and message she sent. Joann made you feel love in every communication and experience she shared with you.

Joann will forever be Loved, Cherished and Missed.

Joann will be laid to rest at 10:00 am on June 9th, 2025 at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Brownstown Township, Michigan.

There will be a celebration of life dinner in her honor June 12th, 2025 at 6:00pm. Contact her husband or son for details.
