When I was 10 I was upset because my sister didn't like something that I did and Aunt Joan looked at me and said if we all liked the same things this world be very boring, that has ALWAYS stuck with me, I even taught my kids this lesson, thank you Aunt Joan, you will be missed....

Always loved hearing her share her memories of us kids when we were young. How dang mean we were. Lol
But i think we got it in earnest. Lol
I love how now when a black cat crosses my path I consider it good luck instead of bad. I remember she'd drive thru the neighborhood looking for one before she went to the dog track..for extra luck. I love the story how she gave me my birth name..just name her Joy for Joyce and Lynn for Linda..with a little attitude no doubt, but that was Aunt Joan. People use to tell me when they saw us together or pictures that I looked more like her than my mom.. so I guess you got something out of it aunt Joan lol..and I'm proud for it. Yes..the world is a little less colorful now without you in it, but, your colorful and fiesty nature will live with me, in me, forever. So with a heavy heart I say goodbye to you for now. I love you Aunt Joan. ❤😇
