Joan Marie Shostek, 58, passed away on September 17th at her home in North Royalton, OH. She was born on August 27th 1962 in Johnstown, PA and was the daughter of the late Walter and Shirley (Werfel) Shostek. Joan was a faithful member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in North Royalton Ohio. She was a free spirit and enjoyed many hobbies including raising butterflies, painting landscapes and fishing. Joan graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1985 and pursued a Technical Writing career. She is survived by her siblings, Theresa Shostakovich, Stephen Shostek, Denise Shostek, Michael Shostek and Patricia (Shostek) Wolfhope and beloved dog Tippy. Joan is missed so much by all of those whose lives she touched. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Albert the Great Church on November 7, 2020 at 11 am.
