Joan Shacklett went home to Jesus on January 13, 2022 at age 90.

Joan was born to Alvin and Frances Stenstrom on December 22, 1931 in Tacoma,Washington.

Joan met her husband Art in Tacoma, where they were married...... They went on to have 3 children, Annette, Yvonne, and Paul. After they were grown and gone, they moved to Cherry Valley near Duvall, Washington.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, she was a beautiful seamstress, and did needlework. Her favorite passion was quilting, donating many to various shelters, organizations, and friends. Joan also loved her church. She served on numerous committees. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. She always had a little chuckle in her voice when she spoke!

Joan joins her husband, parents, daughters Annette and Yvonne, and her brother Bill in Heaven. She is survived by her son Paul, Granddaughter Heather, Great grandchildren, and extended family.

Celebration of Life services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Redmond, Washington on .....
