I used to work with Joan at both Maidenform  and Shop Rite. She was such a beautiful person.  The world lost a gentle soul and heaven has a new Angel. 🙏

My wife and I spent the last 4 months talking and laughing multiple times a day with Joanie. We were as supportive as can be with her desire to have her surgery and we were waiting on that phone call from her post-surgery.  That call never came. Now there is a hole in every day where we won't hear her laugh and joke.  We will miss her and pray for her. She was a beautiful soul. If you have a relative you haven't spoken to in a while, call them. Life is precious. :(

I am Susan Frayer King a baby cousin. I found Joan on ancestry through another cousin 4 yrs ago. We developed a great loving relationship.  We talked alot on the phone and her being 20 yrs older than me had alot to tell me about the family, I didn't know about. She became a mother figure to me and we confided in many personal experiences that developed in her wanting to know about Jesus and accepted HIM in prayer.  She called me multiple times a week just to hear stories about my grandkids and honestly just to have company. I am very blessed to have got to know her after not seeing her 50 yrs ago, but it was like I have knowned her forever.  I am honored to have got to know her personally. She will be missed and I am happy I have a voice mail to remember her voice. 

I’m so surprised by Joan’s passing.
