Joan Rykert, 86, of Howard City, MI, passed away on May 12, 2023 after a long battle with lung disease.
Joan was born on 4/29/1937 to Lila & Dewey Yanke in Lakeview, MI. After graduating from Lakeview HS in 1955 she met Ronald A. Rykert, and they wed on July 9 1955, going on to have 4 children, Kenneth (Carolyn) Rykert, Tamra (Rick Zylstra), Timothy (Kathy Dietzel) Rykert, and David Rykert. Joan worked at Zylstra's …
