We were blessed to have Joanie in our life. We are very sorry for your loss and we are very sad for our loss as well. Our girls lost a very wonderful auntie as well. A loss of a loved one like Joanie hurts. But we’re thankful for our Comforter in times like this.💕💕💕
Joanie became a part of the Gatan family since she and Lou became roommates in Albq way back in the 80’s. She has a special place in our hearts and has a part in our joys and sorrows through life’s experiences! We will miss you, Joanie! We loved and appreciated you more than you know! Love much, Erby
Thinking of each one of you, Rodney & Lessie, Wade & Linda. Your loss is mine too—losing a wonderful friend & a sister. Remembering Joanie’s big heart she did for others, her love & kindness & always stayed in the background. Thankful for times she encouraged my hope and not my struggles. Thankful for happy times, a lot of laughing times, (Hello, can you see Florida from here? ☺️😊, Missy, I can now from here...), a true friend who stood by in lonely times. And many more rich memories, “Only remembered by what we have done..” Thankful that this separation is not forever. That prayers is still kept in the “golden vials”... Thankful that the Lord shared you with us..🙏💝💝💝❤️
We want to send our deepest sympathy to Joanie's family and friends. Joanie and Marylou and their families were a big part of our lives here in the Richmond area for ten years, while they worked for Motorolla and beyond. So glad for her friendship and fellowship in our Sunday and Wednesday Bible study services. Jack and Mary Salmon, Sandston, VA
