Joan McLaughlin, a loving wife, mother, and friend, passed away on May 20, 2022. Born on March 19, 1953, she was the cherished daughter of the late Charles and Nora Penhaligon.

Joan is survived by her devoted husband, Timothy McLaughlin, with whom she shared many wonderful years, creating precious memories that will forever be cherished. She was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind her beautiful children, Andrea McLaughlin, Jason McLaughlin, and Nicole Lamberson, whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her immediate family, Joan touched the lives of many through her kindness, warmth, and genuine compassion. She was a strong and resilient woman, overcoming numerous challenges in her life, while never wavering in her love and dedication to her family.

Joan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy will be one of love, strength, and an unbreakable bond with her family.

A celebration of Joan's life will be held in the company of close family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Joan's memory to a charity of one's choice. May she rest in peace and her memory bring comfort to those left behind.
