Joan's obituary

In Memory of Joan Wooldridge

April 17, 1961 - March 14, 2024

Joan Wooldridge left this world suddenly, leaving behind a legacy of love and music. Born on April 17, 1961, Joan embraced life with an open heart and an unwavering spirit.

Joan's life was defined by her unique approach to love, work, and relationships. She leaves behind her four daughters, her brother, her sister-in-law, 7 grandchildren and her mother. She is pre-deceased by her father and her last husband.

In her final act of generosity, Joan chose to donate her body for scientific research, embodying her lifelong commitment to learning and understanding. She found solace in the idea of contributing to the advancement of knowledge even at the end of her journey.

Music was Joan's passion, a medium through which she expressed her deepest emotions and connected with others. It was through music that she danced through life. Joan's skillful fingers moved across the strings of her guitar, her voice carrying melodies that touched those around her.

Though Joan's relationships were complex our hearts ache with the suddenness of her departure. We find solace in the memories we shared and the love she bestowed upon us. Joan's spirit will continue to live on in the music she loved and the memories she created.

A celebration of Joan's life will be held on April 19th, 2024, where friends and family will gather to honor her memory and share stories of her extraordinary life.

Forever in our hearts.
