Joan C. Carbone

January 12 1940 – July 15 2025

Joan, a beloved wife, friend, and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on July 15th 2025. She was raised in Hudson, NH, ventured to Florida, and eventually settled in Cape Cod, where she created lasting memories with those who loved her. After her time on the Cape she moved back to her home town of Hudson, NH.

Joan’s career included working in the nursing home industry, where she took pride in caring for others and maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents. Her gentle spirit and attention to detail were always appreciated by those she worked with.

A lover of life and laughter, Joan’s greatest joy was dancing every Saturday night with her beloved husband, Fred. Whether it was the joy of a familiar dance step or the thrill of a bingo win, she could always be found with a smile on her face. Joan’s love for the casino and bingo was well known, and she enjoyed every moment spent with her close friends and family.

Joan leaves behind her best friend, Geri Simons, who was always by her side, supporting her through thick and thin. She also leaves her adopted family—Jennifer, Lisa, Steve, Stevie, and Stephanie—who cherished her as one of their own.

Her warm heart, vibrant energy, and infectious laugh will be missed by all who knew her. Joan’s legacy of love, loyalty, and fun will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.
