Joan "Joany" Bruning went home to Jesus on September 23, 2022 at age 82.

Joan was born to Martha Bruning on May 16, 1940 in Hartford, Ct . As a child, Joan loved to being outside and enjoying the nature. Joan met her late husband Robert Bruning in 1958 at an event being hosted at her local church . They married not long after in 1965 and later went on to have 2 children, Robert Bruning and Richard Bruning. In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Joan also loved working in her garden, cooking, and even sometimes going to the VFW with her husband.  Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

Joan joins her husband and her sister in Heaven. She is survived by her two sons and many grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by all. 1 Corinthians “let all that you do be done with love”   16:14
