Jo Anne "Jo" Clark Howard, 60, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on 9/ 9/26/2021 peacefully in her home.

Jo  was born on Nov. 15 1960 to Shelia and Bob Clark in Riverside New Jersey. After graduating from Springvalley high in 1978 , she went on to study Psychology and Nursing at University of South Carolina.

In 1985, she met Kenneth Howard, and they wed in 1988, going on to have 2 children, Ashley Howard and Alexandra Howard.

When Jo had Ashley and Alex, she dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Jo  excelled at propping up her children, family & friends and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Whether that was staying up late nights with Alex while she was in nursing school or helping Ashley plan her next marketing call, she made it her mission to improve the lives of others.

When Jo wasn't dedicating her time to her children, she helped others as an emergency room nurse, eventually becoming a medical administrator. She was always passionate about helping others, both at home and in her professional life. 

Jo was a passionate friend & dog mom and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found sitting on her back porch talking for hours with a friend, she never met a stranger. We will miss her & her enormous personality greatly.

Jo Anne is survived by her two daughters Ashley Faulkenberry of Brunswick, Ga & Alex Straitt of Savannah, Ga. As well as her parents Shelia & Bob Clark of Columbia, SC. & her three siblings Dan Clark, Greg Clark, & Jennifer Finch.
