Jiwon Yeom, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025, at the age of 51. She leaves behind a legacy of unwavering love and strength that will forever resonate in our hearts. Jiwon brought joy to everyone she met, with a radiant smile that could light up any room and a sense of humor that made even the hardest day brighter.

Born on October 17, 1973, Jiwon lived a life marked by grace, resilience, and selfless love. Throughout her courageous battle with cancer, she embraced life with positivity with her enduring spirit. She refused to let her diagnosis define her and approached life with remarkable determination that she could do anything.

Jiwon had a deep passion for golf, a sport she loved for its challenges, serenity, and the friendships it fostered. Whether practicing her swing or enjoying a sunny day on the course, golf brought her peace in the midst of life’s storm. Even outside of golf, she stayed active by taking walks with her loved ones, always pushing forward one step at a time.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Byung; her cherished daughters, Claudia and Aileen; her loving parents; her dear sister, Sanghee; and her brother, Kyuwoong. Her family was her greatest pride and joy as she instilled in them the values of love, kindness, and perseverance. Jiwon’s legacy will live on through her family and the countless lives she touched with her warmth and strength.

A celebration of Jiwon’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 8th, at the Howell Funeral Homes. Though she is no longer with us, Jiwon’s love and light will forever inspire and guide those she leaves behind.

May her beautiful soul find eternal peace.
