Jimmy's obituary

Jimmy Allen Ramey, 31, of Seneca, SC, formerly of Clayton, GA, passed away on February 26, 2025. He was born on December 4, 1993, and was the son of Tommy and Becky Ramey.

Jimmy Ramey was a vibrant, good-hearted man who was always smiling. He never met a stranger and would give anyone the last dime in his pocket, even if it left him with nothing. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Jimmy loved fishing, hunting, and working on just about anything, especially small engines.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Amber Sipe-Ramey of Seneca, SC; his parents, Tommy and Becky Ramey of Clayton, GA; his brother, Brandon Martin of Atlanta, GA; his paternal grandfather, Bobby Ramey of Tiger, GA; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Patsy Coburn of Otto, NC; his maternal grandfather, Jimmie Martin of Jacksonville, FL; his paternal grandmother, Shirley Ramey of Tiger, GA; two uncles, Bobby Ramey of Tiger, GA, and Marty Ramey of Clayton, GA; and one infant cousin.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Rocky Grove Baptist Church, with Rev. Kyle Watts and David Cross officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, prior to the service at the church.

Interment will follow at Rocky Grove Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rocky Grove Baptist Church.
