Jim "Papa Bear" Hopkins, age 68, of Des Moines passed away on March 13, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Jane Zajec; his son, Jason Hopkins; grandchildren, Jack and Julia; his sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Arnie Schlenker, and his sister-in-law Judy Zajec.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Joe and Mary Hopkins, and his brother, Randy Hopkins.
