Jimmy Don Hardy ], [82], of [Abilene Texas], passed away on [July 29,2021] At his Home.

[Jimmy] was born on [March 24 in Sweetwater,Texas to [Jimmy & Irene hardy ] of [Snyder,Texas ]. After graduating from [Snyder high School] in [1958], [he] went on to Texas AM.

After Leaving Texas AM [he]Enlisted in the Air Force Where he served 21 years for his country.In [1964], [he] met [Colette ], and they wed in [1964], going on to have [2] children, [Stephen Lane Hardy and Debbie Hardy Reynolds].

[Jimmy ] was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was very proud of [steve], [debbie], and [Colettee] and always tried his best to support them.

[Jimmy] was also a passionate [golfer] and could often be found [ working in his yard.

Anyone who knew [jimmy] knew that he was a loving father, Grandfather and husband a family could ask for. [Jimmy] was predeceased by [His parents, Grandaparents and many others ]. He is survived by [His Wife Colette hardy ,a Son Stephen Hardy And wife of south Carolina and a daughter Debbie Hardy Reynolds of Snyder ,Texas 5 Grandchildern Cody, Courtney ,Carson, Lane and Noah 1 Great-Grandchild Luke ].

The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Elmwood funeral home 5750 Hwy277 south Abilene ,Texas 79606 . There will be a Visitation from 12-2 pm and graveside service @2pm ] August 4, 2021.
