Jim Rodriguez, 88 passed away on March 2, 2026 in Las Vegas, NV. 

Jim was born on July 24, 1937 in Indio, CA to Ernesto and Cipriana Rodriguez. He moved to Santa Maria, CA where he spent his childhood. He dedicated 35 years of his life to teaching in San Jose, CA, where he made a lasting impact on countless children and colleagues.

Jim was married to his beloved wife Mary Esther for 50 year s until her passing. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters Sandra (husband Stuart) Laue and Debbie (husband Vince) Morris.: Also survived are his grandsons Ryan, Joseph and Liam, step-grandchildren, Eric, Kristin, Amanda and Alice.

Jim enjoyed many passions such as golf, sports and travel. His Catholic faith was important to him and guided him throughout his life. He will be remembered for his dedication to family, commitment to education and friendliness he showed to all that knew him. Jim's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

There will be a funeral mass on April, 10th at St. Mary's Church in Santa Maria, CA. Inurnment Service and reception to follow.
