Jim was a truly great friend and mentor for more than 30 years. I first met him playing at Memorial Park in 1988. We made many trips to Myrtle Beach for 30 years also and everyone was a truly memorable experience. We shared many a golf cart over the years and he always had a story about his Grandchildren and family. He was truly a great person to be your dad when you were down as he always had something positive to say. I will truly miss Jim as will all his many friends who he has touched their lives over the years. God Bless to the family and I know he will always be looking down on all of us as he shoots under par everyday in Heaven. I am sure he has already got a regular game. Jim you will be MISSED.

Jim was a great friend to me for more than 40 years. While we were golfing buddies, our friendship far exceeded our times on the course. Any time I needed help or advice I could count on Jim being there. As I’ve told some of the family, you are lucky if you have a true friend in your lifetime that you would trust your life with. Jim was that to me. I can only hope that he felt the same towards me. He will be greatly missed by all his friends. Condolences to his family!
