Michael Reed Thomas II, Age 33, of Eustis, Florida passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

Michael was born September 1, 1987 in Hayward, WI to Linda (Jeffers) Thomas and Michael R. Thomas. As a teen he had the adventure of moving to Anchorage, Alaska. He graduated from Dimond High School where he was very involved with the JROTC program.

He attended AVTEC in Seward, Alaska to get a welding certificate. He then moved back to the lower 48, and lived in Wisconsin, Maine, and Texas before moving to Florida in February of 2020. Michael was currently enrolled at DeVry University in their on-line Medical Billing and Coding program, achieving recognition on the Dean’s List the past 2 semesters.

Michael’s greatest joy was being a father and spending time with his son Michael. Although he lived in several states, he remained an avid Packer fan and enjoyed NASCAR. His hearty laugh, and giant hugs will be missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his son: Michael R. Thomas III, Parents: Linda (Rick) Thomas and Michael R. Thomas, Half-brother: Shane Thomas, Grandparents: Lula Belle and Donald Nelson and Step-grandmother Sherlia Jeffers, an Aunt: Vickie (Tim) Van Blarcom, Great Uncle: Bill Reed and Cousins: Tara Johnson, Robin (David) Allgyer, Katie (Aaron) Coon, and Jacob Van Blarcom.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents Wanda J. Thomas, Jack Thomas, and Clarence Jeffers and his aunt Brenda Johnson.

In honoring Michael’s wishes, no formal funeral service will be held.
