Jim's obituary
James (Jim) Flock, 77, of Milton WI, passed away at Alden Meadows Park and Rehab on October 6, 2024,. He was born on January 12, 1947 on the home farm of Alphonse and Marie (Frederick) Flock. The farm was located in the town of Jefferson near Cashton WI. Jim graduated from Cashton High School.
Jim was in the Army and served in the Vietnam War. After his return, he married the love of his life Jean on September 28, 1968. They raised their 2 sons in Milton, WI. He worked at GM in Janesville and retired after 35 years of service. Jim was a dedicated, proud, and humble individual. Jim loved sports of all kinds. The Milwaukee Brewers, UW Badgers and Green Bay Packer were amongst some of his favorite teams. Jim enjoyed being outside, gardening, traveling with Jean in their motorhome and spending time with family. He always enjoyed celebrating birthdays and accomplishments of those in his family. Jim was full of humor and fun and was such a joy to everyone around him.
Jim is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jean; two sons, Rick (Stephanie) Flock and Terry (Tami) Flock; 4 grandchildren, Curtis (Marisela) Flock, Thomas (Hannah) Flock, Stacia Flock and Bailey Flock; 5 great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Aiden, Addison, Paisley and Charlotte; sister-in-law, Jane Flock, sister-in-law, Lavina Flock; sister Delores Flock; brother-in-law, Ronald Becker; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Donald, Eugene and LaMont Flock; sisters, Marcella (Jerome) Schreier, Carol (Kenneth) Kammel, Roseann (Gene) Hurtz and Ethel Becker.
