Once a long time ago (1992?) Jim and Brenda came to visit the Hamiltons, and that Sunday we went to the Bethalto Church of God. Jim was asked to sing, and he chose "O For a Thousand Tongues" from the last page of one of the Church of God Convention song books (not the traditional hymn). The verse says
"O for a thousand tongues to sing
Praises unto Thee.
O for a thousand hands to raise
In honor to the King."
Since he was 7 years old, and had polio, he was unable to move his left arm, and could not lift his right arm above his head. In commenting about this song, Jim said that when he gets to heaven, no one will be able to keep either of his arms down.
A loving memory

My memory of Jimmy was his amazing sense of humor no matter what was going on in his life. He enjoyed life to the fullest! He loved the Lord and loved singing for the Lord. He always had a smile anytime I was visiting with him. I know he is loving it in heaven with his Savior and with loved ones gone on before.
Brenda, I pray God will comfort your heart as only He can. Jim is in your and my future and that is such comfort for now.
Love and prayers, Becky and Art Baise

There was never a dull moment when you were with Jim. He loved his family and friends especially Brenda, his country and his Savior. There will never be anyone who overcame so many obstacles with such a positive attitude. The Green Bay Packers have lost an avid fan!
In response to "What always reminds you of Jim?"
