So heartbroken for the family. Jim was an amazing human. We spent alot of time together in our high school and college days. He got me into surfing and on a couple of occasion gave me his surfing equipment at a time when we were both broke and in college. One time someone stole the boots and gloves he loaned me…he just said “ah well”. That was Jim, he wasn’t going to stress it, just move on to the next wave. Such a great spirit!
I don’t have any words except I am praying for you and your family for comfort during an unimaginable loss. I’m so sorry.

My last memory of Jim was from just a few weeks ago.  He sat on my couch and prayed with me and my family over our future… prayed we would get clarity from the Lord on our future. When he left the last thing he said to my little sister was “try not to take life so seriously”… I love that about Jim- he could climb into your pain and sit with you and then make you laugh 5 minutes later. There will always be a Jim sized hole in our life. Words won’t ever be enough to describe the love and the loss.

Super devistated!!! Jim practically help change the course of my life by being loving and kind to me. Also by showing me how to paint cars in which I am forever grateful for. I’m pretty sure he’s in heaven getting the barrel of a lifetime! Till we meet again my friend. Love you Dude!!!
Jim was warm, kind, and loved Jesus, his family, and the ocean! Great dude. Shredding the gnat so hard in heaven.
Leslie, there are no words to tell you how heartbroken I am for you and your children. God has his arms around you all and continued prayers during this saddened time.  Love you💔💔❤️❤️
Leslie and Family, such a tragic loss. We will always have fond memories of meeting you two (pre-children) and just connecting with you both. We love you all and are heartbroken with all of you.
