Jessie's obituary
Jessie (Joshua) Feiner
Born in Princeton, NJ on November 8, 1999, our beloved Jessie, passed away at the young age of 25, in St. Paul, Minnesota on October 5, 2025.
Jessie was an exceptionally gifted and intelligent soul who after graduating with honors from Spruce Creek High School’s AITR Academy, was granted a full-ride scholarship to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University where they attended for 2 years before enlisting in the United States Air Force. Jessie proudly served our county as a Boom Operator from 2019-2023, a role that required immense skill, precision, and responsibility. They approached their service with honor and dedication, and our family is deeply proud of the commitment they made to our country.
In their spare time, Jessie loved playing goalie on local hockey teams, spending late nights gaming with friends and relaxing with his beloved cats, Cedar and Panda. Whether it was in the air, on the ice, or at their computer, Jessie devoted themselves wholeheartedly to the things they loved with passion.
Jessie is survived by their mother, Virginia, their father, Glenn, and their two brothers, Zachary and Nickolas – who will forever carry their memory in their hearts.
Jessie’s life was filled with talent and love; their absence will forever leave a hole in our hearts. We will remember their bright mind, loyal nature and the joy he brought into our lives always.
Depression is an illness, and every year we lose nearly 50,000 souls in the US alone. Behind each statistic is a beautiful, irreplaceable human being like Jessie. Our hope in sharing this truth is to help break the silence and stigma surrounding mental health, and to remind others that they are not alone. In Jessie’s memory, we encourage others to speak openly about mental health, to check-in on those they love and to reach out when they need help. Jessie’s story matters– and so does every life.
A memorial service to celebrate Jessie’s life will be held at the First United Methodist Church located at 305 Dunlawton Ave, Port Orange FL, on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 2:00pm. A repast will follow the service at our home: 1885 Creekwater Blvd, Port Orange, FL 32128. All are welcome to join.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be made in Jessie’s name to Pet Haven, Minnesota’s First Foster Based Animal Rescue, saving lives since 1952. https://pethavenmn.app.neoncr…">https://pethavenmn.app.neoncr…
