I met Jessica right after we both graduated from undergrad. We were working at the same job trying to get patient care hours for PA school. Her energetic, joy for life was contagious and she quickly became one of my best friends. Through marriage, jobs, and kids, we hadn’t seen each other near as much in the last few years. But when we did finally talk or get together, we could pick right up like no time had passed. She was one of the most genuine, loving souls I’ve ever known. She will be incredibly missed be anyone who was lucky enough to know her.

Jess - I’m so sorry this happened to you. You fought so bravely. I know you’re at peace. Thank you for walking me to class my first day of college, for joining my first night out in college, and many laughs in our shared science class. Witnessing your friendship with Abbie, your loyalty to your littles and then me as Abbie’s little, was just who you were, a caring and loving person. Praying for your family and wishing you all my deepest condolences.

My heart breaks for the loss of Jess, she was one of the most kind, caring and funny - oh she was funny - people I ever knew.  It was my honor and privilege to have known her and for her to be one of my students.  G-Block forever Jess!
Although I only knew Jessica for a brief amount of time, she was an amazing mentor who touched my heart. I couldn’t have asked for a more positive light as a mentor, and I am honored to have known her. I will miss her dearly.
Love you forever Jess, the brightest light around. Sending hugs, healing and prayers to your family

From one CUPA alum 2023 to another. I pray for your family during this time. Jessica’s story is inspiring and humbling. Thank you for sharing this opportunity to honor her beautiful heart and life.
