Dear Friends & Family and Those Who Knew and Loved Jessica,
We hope you are doing well and that we will see many of you in May as we honor and celebrate the extraordinary life of Ms. Jessica Monat.

We have created this website dedicated to Jessica, that provides helpful information in one easy-to-access site. It contains her obituary, which ran in Jessica’s beloved Washington Post on January 14, 2024. You are encouraged to share a comment and we’d love to see any photos you’d be willing to upload and share.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE:
We will celebrate Jessica at The Iowa on May 4th from 3:00-6:00 pm. Please RSVP if you plan to attend the Celebration of Life on May 4th. Details are available under the “Events” tab. Weather permitting, it will take place in The Iowa’s private courtyard. An interior location will be used in the event of inclement weather.

DIRECTIONS:
If you enter ‘The Iowa’ from 13th Street, there are 5 steps leading to the front door. There are no steps beyond that point. If you require an elevator, please call or text Denise on 571-216-2371 or email Gray22301@gmail.com to make arrangements for access.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS:
Should you require hotel accommodations, there are several recommendations on the website under the “Events” tab. May 4 is peak tourist season in Washington, DC so make reservations as early as possible.

PARKING:
Please read the parking information carefully. Street parking is very limited and time restricted. For those driving, the closest public parking garage is located one-half mile away. For those walking, the nearest Metro stop is .8 mile walk. We encourage you to consider taking an Uber or Lyft. More information is available on the website under the “Events” tab.
