Background

UPDATED INFO;
Original donation goal was originally set based on the lack of information we had at the time of what all was going to be needed or required. There were a lot we didn’t know yet at the time, from the new car she just purchased, cost of transportation across state, chiding casket, & burial plot or cremation, to to travel expenses that we didn’t know if we were going to also need a way to cover or not. We met with a Funrtql home today, & spoke more with a few authorities in Arkansas concerning her vehicle & belongings. So things have been updated based on our newest updates. Every donation still makes bringing her back home even easier, & is appreciated by her family & children more than we can express!

My sister Jessica was an extremely out going person who was easy to love. She had a way of grabbing the attention of a whole room of ppl without even trying. She was super sweet, easy to talk to, and didn’t know a stranger. She was young and trying so hard to get back on her feet from some things in her past that were holding her back. She was sent to Little Rock Arkansas to a facility, then graduated on to a treatment program. From there she made it her life’s goal to make it back home to her family and friends in Springfield Missouri. She was a wife, a mother of two, a sister, cousin to many and friends with everyone she met. She kept telling me it was her “Mission”. “Project make it back Home!” She worked hard to get her cna certification, was enjoying her new job and direction in life. She was finally getting herself back on the financial track she needed to get back home, even enjoying having purchased a new vehicle for herself. Taking pride in her new independence, boasting about the fact she was finally going to be able to make it back home in just one more month!
But she didn’t know a stranger, she had a heart of gold, and made your problems hers as well. She could never leave someone alone knowing they were in need. So when she wasn’t working or attending her groups she spent her time with an individual that was still struggling to keep themselves together, so Jess was spending time trying to help be there for this person like she tried to be for so many!
Unfortunately this cost her her life. Circumstances surrounding her death at this time are still being investigated. What we know at this time is the cause of death was from Fentanyl poisoning. Wether or not she took it herself or knowingly is one of the things that’s still being investigated. I know she was loved by so many, and many did not want her to leave. Including this individual she was spending her time with. If she were to relapse or fail her visit to her P.O. Than she wouldn’t be approved to come back home. But Fentanyl is dangerous and extremely unpredictable. There’s no real way of knowing how much you’re giving someone or yourself! This is why so many lives are being took away from us. It’s now one of THE number one killers. More deadly than the pandemic itself even.
Now she’s gone from us here on earth but we her family and close friends want so badly to get her back home finally! Like she was trying so hard to do!
Right now she’s in Little Rock Arkansas. So we need to raise enough money to get her transported from Little Rock to Springfield, Missouri. This is NOT cheap. Then we have to have a place to welcome her back to. This also requires some funds. Than if anyone wants to get to visit her one last time, we need to set up and arrange a visitation. This costs money. Then she’ll need help to get ready for her last celebration, and this too costs money. Her husband and other family members taking time off work to try and make calls, figure out what all is available. This too costing time away from work to be able to still make the light payment. Sadly there’s just not anything that we’ve been able to find so far. So we’re needing financial help to cover the many expenses involved and to support her immediate family members who this is affecting directly.
She may be gone away from us but we can keep her goal to make it back home alive at least! “Project come back home!” And YOU can be apart of that! Even if it’s just 1$ that adds up if it’s just 100 to 1,000 ppl donating just a dollar! So no amount is too small! Please help us bring her back home and give her, her one last celebration of life!
