It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Jesse Vail, who left this earthly realm on February 14, 2024.

Born to Cornelius and Emily Vail on December 30, 1948.. Jesse's life was a simple one focused on nature, solitude, and small joys.

He was preceded in death by his parents Cornelius and Emily, and his only son Bobby.

Jesse is survived by his loving wife of 33 years - Betty, his two daughters Jessica & Charlene, many grandkids and great grandchildren, his first wife Arlene, and many brothers and sisters.

A man of simple tastes, Jesse's favorite pastime was gardening - a hobby that brought him immense joy and satisfaction. He loved growing flowers and plants, he appreciated the journey of their growth, and the quiet reflection they brought him.

He thoroughly enjoyed dining out at local diners, sipping on his hot coffees (his daily ritual), tracking the weather, and watching sunsets down the shore. Nature was something he always appreciated, it brought him peace and comfort. He loved to take in all the scenery on a long drive down the shore or up to the mountains.

Jesse’s passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his memory will continue to bring laughter and smiles to the faces of his loved ones for years to come. May he watch sunsets in eternal peace.
