Jesse's obituary
Jesse Manasseh Magras, 18, passed away on April 26, 2026, as the result of a vehicle accident.
Jesse was recently living in Kingwood, Texas, having moved from his home in Willow Street, Pennsylvania after completing his high school graduation requirements early. He was pursuing his goals of becoming an electrician and was eagerly awaiting acceptance into the Houston Electrical Union Apprenticeship program while taking electrical college classes and working at Chick-fil-A nearby. His move reflected not only his determination to build a future for himself, but also his love for being close to family, enjoying warm weather, and - as those who knew him can attest - good food.
A Senior at Lampeter-Strasburg High School, Jesse built deep friendships during his time in Lancaster County. He loved spending time with his friends, whether that was going to car shows, hanging out at Sheetz, fishing at midnight, or just being together. He was scheduled to walk across the stage at graduation on May 29th with his classmates, many of which he knew since Third Grade. Before moving to Texas, Jesse worked at Chick-fil-A in Lancaster for nearly three years, where he made countless friends - many who became like family.
He is survived by his loving parents, Brandon and Carissa Magras; his sister, Providence Magras; his grandparents, Martha Buckner and Vanya Martin, and Brenda and Lou Magras; and his uncle, Craig (and Ashley) Magras. He was deeply loved by so many people, and his absence will be profoundly felt.
