Jesse's obituary
Jesse “Pancho” Cordell passed away on September 4, 2022 at the age of 84, in his home of Hot Springs, Arkansas. His battle with serious medical issues in the past few months showed his courage in facing life’s challenges with a smile. Despite struggles with health, Pancho remained focused on the Lord our Savior Jesus Christ. He kept his faith strong and reassured his family that it was all in God’s hands.
Pancho was a Texan through and through. He loved to rodeo, calf roping and steer wrestling were his favorite events. He supported and was involved in many missionary trips, spreading the word of Jesus Christ. He worked in the Oilfields most of his life, buying and selling the same field four times. He was truly a Titan of industry, having a hand in many different areas. Developing Subdivisions, Trucking, Oil and Gas Industry, Cordell Brick, Aztec Brick, with many other projects and amazing adventures in between.
Pancho was a caring, compassionate, giving, and loving man. He had an uncanny ability to find happiness in his daily activities. His personality was contagious to everyone he met. He made an impact on many lives over the course of his life. Pancho was preceded by his parents Bill and Hazel Cordell along with his daughter Andrea Cordell Jeter, and his sister Maxine Cordell Stout. Pancho is survived by daughter Cindy and her husband Doug Estetter, daughter Stephanie Bland, daughter Jessica and her husband Doss Murphy. Sister Brenda Gaylean. Also, many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a viewing on Wednesday September 7, 2022 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home in Hot Springs, Arkansas from 5:00pm-7:00pm.
Pancho will be honored with a grave-side service at Henderson Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery at 10:00am on September 9, 2022. There will be a celebration of life to follow at Crawford-A.Crim Funeral Chapel in Henderson Texas.
