Jesse's obituary

Jesse James was born to Ray and Cindy Cook, in the fall of October 1989. He was just over 9 pounds and the apple of his parents and older siblings eyes. He was your average boy, loving dinosaurs, animals and chasing his dogs through the yard. Through his younger days he grew up in Eureka CA adventuring the surrounding wilderness with his Dad, brothers, and Sister, often camping in Willow creek and enjoying Trinity Lake where his family has many memories of him. In the late 90’s his family moved to Sonoma County settling on the Russian River where he became talented in his skate boarding and artistic abilities. After High School, Jesse got into the local IBEW working side by side with His Dad and older brother in Electrical. He later worked with the Bergin College of K9 Studies doing puppy parenting for dogs who become service animals, which he was very proud of. Jesse was passionate about his family, Parents Ray & Cindy Cook, his older sister Camille (Cook) Smook brother-n-law (Patrick Smook), older brother Josh Cook sister-n-law (Kelly Cook) , and his younger brother Casey Cook, who was his closest pal. He was always grateful for his friends, particularly his closest friends Jake Davidson, Jimmy, Nick AKA Sleekmouse, Thatcher, and Frank, who we would like to thank for their continued support to our family after Jesse's passing. Jesse loved camping, fishing, and anything outdoors with nature and animals. Jesse is survived by his Siblings, mentioned, and parents, along with his Grandparents, Camille Brown, Ed & Liz Fredrickson, & Joan Leith. Many cousins, Aunts & Uncles as well as his nieces London & Jenna Smook, who he was incredibly close with. Nephews, Cody, Ray, David & Calvin. He will forever be missed, and we will honor him by giving back to our communities, and offering random acts of kindness, and living with compassion, remembering, we are all just someone wanting to be loved, like Jesse was.
