JERRY D. WOOD 

Jerry Don Wood, 29 Oak Grove, died Tuesday at the Independence Regional Health Center. He was born in Stover, Mo., and lived in Oak Grove for 20 years. Mr. Wood was a construction laborer.

He leaves one daughter,  April Wood of Carrollton, Carroll, Kentucky.; his mother, Mrs. Nellie Viola Stevenson Wood, Oak Grove; four brothers, Floyd E. Wood, St. Leonard, Md., Lloyd R. Wood Jr., Independence, and Dale Wood and William Wood of Oak Grove; and five sisters, Mrs. Bertha Jett and Miss Rachel Wood of Independence, Mrs. Letha Burnett, Oak Grove, and Mrs. Virginia Massey and Ms. Sandy Dorrell of Blue Springs. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Royer Chapel, Oak Grove; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
