Sarge's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry "Sarge" Scott, who succumbed to life's end on July 31, 2025. Born on November 11, 1958, Jerry, better known as Sarge, touched many lives with his straightforward yet compassionate manner.
Sarge is survived by his loving wife, Tommie Scott, whom he married on August 24,2012. Their bond was one of true partnership and love. He is also survived by his daughters, Olivia and LilLee Scott, who were his pride and joy. His love for them was boundless and will continue to live on through their lives.
Sarge served his country in the Army for 28 years and was extremely proud to be a Veteran.
Sarge had an eclectic taste, finding joy in various facets of life. An avid fan of Alabama Crimson Tide Football, he also had a keen interest in war games. Sarge was extremely passionate about his MC clubs , especially BAY CITY ROLLERS MC.His appetite extended to the enjoyment of gummy bears, and his evenings spent watching cooking shows and anything related to the military. Sarge loved blues and rock music, a perfectly fitting soundtrack for his spirited life.
His favorite recreational activities were the ones spent with friends, cherishing every moment of camaraderie. A lover of warmer climates, Sarge’s preferred vacation spots were anywhere not cold. His favorite color reflected his vibrant personality - sapphire blue.
In life, Sarge never missed an opportunity to provide guidance. His foremost advice to his loved ones was, "Don't stress it... Cool out." His teachings always encouraged a calm, laid-back approach towards life's trials, exemplifying the semblance of serenity and strength in his own life.

Sarge will be dearly missed, yet his spirit will continue to live on in the lives of those he touched. Fly high and loud!!
