Jerry's obituary

Jerry Lea Rowe Quickle, 77, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, passed away on December 21, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 16, 1947, in Antioch, California, to Troy Rowe and Marjorie Collins Rowe. Jerry grew up in Corona, California, where she graduated high school before moving to Oklahoma at the age of 17.

On November 15, 1967, she married Dean Quickle in Miami, Oklahoma, and together they built a life filled with love and family.

Jerry had a strong work ethic and held many jobs throughout her life. She worked for Peacock Jewelers in Sand Springs, Citi Service, managed Humdingers Craft and Antique Mall as well as Great American Antiques Mall, and later retired as an assistant manager at Walmart. She was a talented artist who loved to paint and craft, always bringing creativity into her home and family.

An avid television fan, Jerry especially enjoyed watching Survivor, Big Brother, and Oklahoma Sooners football. But above all else, she cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Quickle, and her parents, Troy and Marjorie Rowe. She is survived by her sister, Sharon Rowe Aparicio, and her husband Roy Aparicio of Lake Elsinore, California; her children, Justin Allen Quickle, Bryan Lee Quickle, and Joshua Dean Quickle, all of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; her daughter, Shari Quickle Lewis and her husband Dean Lewis of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; and her son, Rodney Quickle and wife Susan of Texas.. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Parker Wayne Dean Quickle, Maycee Quickle, Paisleigh Quickle, Colby Young, Kara Quickle, Misty Lewis Rispoli, Kristen Lewis Ollie, Joe Quickle, Candace Quickle Slaten, Rene Quickle and many more great-grandchildren. She was also loved by her niece, Carrie Alva Nordbeck, and nephew, Ray Alva of California.

Jerry and her family lived in Sand Springs for many years and were members of Broadway Baptist Church. She was a warm, loving, and compassionate person whose love, laughter, and warm hugs will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
