Jerry and I worked together at Waters for many years. We were both trained as librarians, and we shared a similar sense of humor as well. She was a delightful person, and we had many good times together. I miss you Jerry!
I worked with Jerry for many years at Waters.  We had so many laughs together. She was so fun and light hearted. I’m so sorry to hear of her passing. Those who had her in their life had quite an honor and privilege. Amazing woman. ❤️
Sorry to hear this.  She worked in my group for many years.  I enjoyed working with her

I have been remiss in posting something here - not for lack of caring but for lack of coming up with a way to describe Jerry.  She was truly one of a kind. We all said she was going to write the next great American novel - because she had an imagination, a creativity, a sense of humor, and a warmth, that could translate words and actions into something special. I will miss her forever.

Sending thoughts and prayers to your family during this difficult time.  From your MHT Terminal Supervisor family.

I had the privilege of having aunt Jerry in my life since the day I was born. Her kind, funny, witty spirit was like no one else’s. I knew no matter what she would be there for me whenever I needed her. A couple years ago my mom had gotten sick and was in the hospital. Due to other circumstances my siblings and boyfriend were unable to be with at the hospital. As soon as I called aunt Jerry and she learned that I was by myself her and uncle d were at the hospital within 15 minutes and stayed with me till I was okay. I will never forget everything she’s done for me and the endless support I got from her.

Another memory I have that often comes to mind is when Aunt Jerry used to bring me to school and whenever she needed to get gas I’d go with her. The first time we went she asked me what my favorite candy was and I had told her kit kats. Well from then on without fail every single time she’d get gas she’d return to the car with a kit kat for me and a giant smile on her face.

She was truly an amazing kind hearted person and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her and having her in her life knows that. Holidays won’t be the same without her fun spirit and creative activities! I will forever love and miss her!

Love,

Jess

Jerry was a loving, caring, kind, generous and supportive sister in law. She was actually more like a sister to me. She always dropped whatever she was doing to help me even if it was just being a listening ear. She always gave the most wonderful advice that I’ll miss dearly. I love you and I will really miss spending time together. I will always be there for your family. May you rest in peace.

Love,

Deana

She had many names, Geraldine, Jerry, Bobe, Rebus just to name a few.   I have many fond memories with Bobe but one special memory sticks out to me.

Back in the day when she’d come to visit her home in Western MA she’d want me to take a ride with her to her “future” dream house in the hill country.   It was an old large white colonial home probably built in the late 1700’s.  She always dreamed of one day buying this property and doing something creative  (what that was I never knew).

Unfortunately we never made this trip again.   I often wonder what she’d do with this place..I can only imagine it would be something special!

With much love..your favorite BIL..Dwight😎

Aunt Jerry loved unconditionally, welcoming anyone and everyone into her home with open arms. We spent a lot of time with the Fixes growing up, but one thing I’ll never forget is the holidays that we spent there and the magic that Aunt Jerry created for us kids. I’ll always have fond memories of the Easter scavenger hunts she made for us in particular. Even after we were all grown, that didn’t stop Aunt Jerry’s passion for wanting to ensure we all had fun. Having us all decorate sun hats before running around Nashua on a scavenger hunt will always be a fond memory of mine.

Aunt Jerry was also incredibly supportive. She was always encouraging me and never told me I couldn’t do something. She always made sure to ask when my dance recitals were, and I’ll never forget seeing her in the audience, waving to me with the biggest smile on her face. Her support was truly immeasurable.

One memory I have in particular is one of the more recent times I was able to spend with her. It all started with me needing to interview someone for an assignment and Aunt Jerry didn’t hesitate to participate. We made a day of it, going to the local farm and having lunch together while I learned more about her childhood and the experiences that helped shape her into the amazing woman she was. Being able to have that quality time with her is something I’ll never take for granted. I’ll always remember the love, passion, creativity, and fun that she brought to every aspect of life.

She will be incredibly missed and may these memories bring you comfort during this difficult time.

Love,

Caroline

Growing up with Christina from a young age, I loved going over to her home and seeing her mom and dad. Jerry loved everyone with such sincerity. She welcomed all, and her laughter was contagious. She included me in family dinners, family vacations to Maine, shopping trips, cookouts, and movie nights. She helped mother me when I needed mothering and always gave support.

Among all the memories, one story is something I think of often. Jerry tried to help me get out of a speeding ticket when I was 19. I’ll never forget it. She drove me to my court date up in Concord, sat with me in the room, and when the judge asked if anyone had anything to say on my behalf she stood right up. The words she spoke to describe my drive and who I was as a person that day stuck with me to this day, almost 12 years later. She told the judge he was wrong to suspend my license. Straight to his face! She was fearless for her kids and anyone else’s. Would do anything for her daughters.

I’m so sorry to hear of her passing. Saddened we didnt share one last hug, and am sending prayers, love, and healing to her family who is suffering the immense loss and struggling with the hole left by such an amazing person.

Uncle D, Mal, and Chris, I’m truly sorry for your loss. Aunt Jerry had an amicable spirit with many positive attributes to her character. One attribute of hers that I will always look back upon fondly was her passion to bring child-like excitement to all of her endeavors. Hospitality was a true gift of hers. She had compassion on all who walked into her home to ensure everyone was seen and cared for.

One memory I have of her that I revisit frequently is as follows:

I was approximately 15 years old and during one of our many visits to the Fix household, I was having a conversation with Aunt Jerry about my STRONG dislike for reading. Like most teenage boys, I thought it was boring and lame. She corrected me with a gentle and sincere remark, “It’s not that you don’t like reading, it’s just that you haven’t found the right book yet.”

She was absolutely right!

May God be a source of comfort and peace for your family in this difficult time.

Love,

Michael K
