Diana - I'm so so sorry to have just heard about Jerry's passing. He was a true joy to work with over the years at Disney and Fox and then again at his firm. He was always a supporter of mine early on in my career as an agent and my clients loved working with him too. Jerry was a beacon of light and a stellar role model of how to be a great colleague and peer in our industry. My heart goes out to you and your family. Jerry will be greatly missed and his upbeat spirt will never be forgotten.

I was looking back at my text thread with Jerry over the years and I was struck by his generosity - always having time to respond to a request for advice, no matter how small - and his optimism - when I went to a new job he smelled "...a new client!" and when I asked him if a conversation with an agent had gone well, he replied, "All my conversations go well!" He made the world a better place everyday for those around him and to say that he will be missed greatly is a great understatement. He was just the best.

May the many sweet, loving, generous, successful and humorous memories of Jerry's full life be a comfort to his family. Gone too soon .
My deepest condolence to the entire Longarzo family.

Dear Diana... Many years ago, I made a deal with Jerry while he worked at Disney. And many years later, reconnected with him, having lunch now and then. Though we did not talk often, or keep in touch, I always liked Jerry very much, and was very saddened to read of his passing. In that first deal with him, he was fair and honest, and straight forward, and handled the deal with integrity and honor. It was a good deal for my client, and a good one for Disney. I always appreciated that, especially when making deals can be adversarial, acrimonious and filled with negativity. That deal was not. Jerry was a stand up guy, who I know was respected and will be missed by many.
Please accept my deepest condolences, and very best to you and your family.

Jerry was one of a kind. We worked together in several different chapters of Jerry’s career - at Disney, Fox and later his own firm. In every encounter with him, whether at a weekly meeting or a random event, he always made me smile. His intelligence, enthusiasm and sense of humor were ever-present, and he always made me feel valued (even during my occasional dumb questions)!
Jerry will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

We always will smile when we remember Coach Jerry and his 2015 championship NY Yankees team at West LA Baseball. Coach Jerry was simply one-of-a-kind, a coach you dream about your child having because you know he will inspire him to be his best. Coach Jerry was endlessly kind and enthusiastic and Jack will never forget him.

Jerry was not a guy that sat around wondering what to do with his life. He had a plan, and pursued it with drive, intelligence and his terrific sense of humor. He had a great life, and the presence of mind to recognize that and be thankful for it. And, of course, make the most of it, right until the end. I never knew anyone else quite like him, and the world's a lesser place without him. But he made his mark when he was here. We should all be so lucky.
