Jerry's obituary

Jerry Lee Howard was born December 21st, 1960 in Kennett Missouri and passed away peacefully at 3pm Tuesday March 9th 2021 in Ann Arbor, MI. Jerry lived his adult life in Saint Joseph, MI near the banks of the St. Joe River he so loved. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 40 years, Belinda(Jones), his children Jessica Howard and Cody Howard, his Sisters Tammy (Steve) Juroff and Patricia (Al) Fredenburg, his beloved cat Stella and many many more family members, friends, neighbors, hunting and fishing buddies. Jerry was proceeded in death by his parents Jerry Leon Howard and Mary Howard, his brother Terry Howard and Sisters Karen Brown and Debbie Ward.
He loved his family deeply and being able to provide for them gave him great comfort. Jerry was a skilled laborer and was a part of the labor union as an operator for 25 years. He took great pride in his home, doing all the work of renovations and upgrades himself, all while never missing a day of work. He very much loved to be outdoors, either in the woods in his tree stand or on his boat catching the biggest fish. His favorite week of each year was the one he spent fishing for Walleye on the Detroit River with family and friends. He touched the lives of every person he came to know and would help anyone, however he could, without a moments hesitation.
Celebration of life will be held Saturday June 19th 2021 at 5pm at the family home in Saint Joseph.
