Jerry Brent Cordle, 54, of Newport News, Virginia, passed away on October 25, 2025. He was born on January 2, 1971, to the late Robert Cordle and Claudia Cooper. A 1989 graduate of Gloucester High School, Jerry worked for many heavy equipment contractors and was known as one of the best operators in the area. He helped construct the ponds at Sandy Bottom Nature Park in Hampton and the Jefferson Avenue exit of I-64, among …
