Jerold's obituary

Our Papa, Jerold "Jerry" Wilwerding, Jr., unexpectedly passed away on August 17, 2022 due to a sudden natural cause . Jerry was 64 years old.

Jerry was born on September 25, 1957 to his parents, Margaret Domino Wilwerding and Jerold Wilwerding, Sr. and four older sisters, Mary Jane, Peggy, Debbie, and Joyce. Growing up, Jerry had an incredibly happy childhood filled with his love for playing outdoors and following the coattail of his Dad . This would go on to shape his life as an adult and would inspire him to be a hardworking meat cutter who loved to go hunting, fishing, gardening, and fixing old cars.

After meeting Rossanna on a blind date in 1998, the pair went on to get married and Jerry easily assumed the fatherly role to Sandra and Annie. Our blended family was defined by eating out at restaurants and a love for dogs and politics . Without Jerry’s love and support, the lives of many in our family would’ve been drastically different.

We mourn the loss of our Papa and encourage any and all who knew him to remember his genuine kindness and funny jokes that he brought to this world.
