With a heavy heart, we solemnly announce the passing of Jermais "Atopho" Hernandes, who journeyed to eternal rest on June 8, 2022. Known to many as Atopho, he was born on August 2, 2000, and his 21 years on earth were filled with quiet resilience and an undeniable spirit of tranquility.

Atopho leaves behind his loving mother, Sheirise Hernandes, who, amidst the sorrow of loss, finds comfort in the memories of her son's life. A life that, though short, was marked with moments of warmth, laughter, and love. He is, however, preceded in death by his grandfather, Jose Hernandes.

Atopho was a 2018 graduate of Palo Duro High School, in Amarillo, Texas

Atopho’s quiet and shy demeanor was one that commanded an uncommon respect. He reminded us, in his unique way, that one's impact is not measured by the loudness of one's words but by the depth of one's actions.

As we mourn Atopho's passing, we also celebrate his life, cherishing the cherished memories he left us with. Each moment, each memory serving as a constant reminder of the profound and distinctive nature of his character. May his gentle soul find eternal rest.
