Jerka was a legend in her own right. Through the fiery trials of life, including surviving the atrocities of World War 2, she always carried a positive spirit. Her resilience against adversity was a testament to her enduring courage and strength. Her love for Jesus was at the center of her life, a testament to her deep faith. Her kindness, caring, and forgiveness were not only characteristics of her personality but also life lessons she imparted to those she touched.
Jerka's greatest accomplishment, and the one she held most dear, was creating a beautiful family and leaving a legacy of love. She was renowned for her culinary skills, regarded by many as the best cook ever. Her recipes were infused with love and served alongside stories from her life and moments of laughter that filled the room. These shared moments of joy will be remembered and cherished by her family until their last breaths.
A viewing for Jerka will be held on August 26, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Saint Kilian Church. The funeral service will follow at 8:30 PM at the El Toro Memorial Park. A celebration of Jerka's life will be held the same day at 9:45 PM at 2611 Rivington. It is in these moments we will honor her life, remember her love, and carry forward the legacy she has created.
